I've encountered this video over a decade ago and it has been thought provoking.
Earl Nightingale claims to have found the secret to success and surprisingly also the key to failure.
Couldn't agree more with this, and I definitely think whoever has made this video has illustrated it well.
It's surprising how multiple generations before ours have compiled so much knowledge that is never referred to as part of our mainstream education (except mostly Science & Mathematics).
And equally surprising is how people back then (going across centuries) without lightbulb, without easy means of transport, without internet, (without Netflix???) have created such extensive research and discoveries across various fields - music, physics, arts, astronomy, mathematics, medicine etc;
And many have keenly observed nature for their findings.
Newton, Wright bros, Mendel, Mozart
Trivia: Apparently when Beethoven composed Fur Elise, he was deaf.
Anyway, back to mr. Nightingale's findings.
- You become, what you think about. ("यद् भावं तद् भवति")
- Create, not conform.
- with thought comes action and with actions come results
- Priceless possessions have come for free, but the things that cost us money and we place value upon are cheap
Have a look at it below, totally worth your 10 minutes.
